Our quality controlled pollen forecasts have proven accuracy over two decades and are produced using a combination of current pollen data meteorological factors, vegetation information and phenology.
Pollen Forecasts We produce the pollen forecasts for the UK on various time scales. Forecasts are available for purchase for all media outlets. To discuss your requirements for this season, contact Beverley on 01905 855411. Forecasts are available on a regional basis to cover the whole of the UK including Northern Ireland. They can also be provided in detail for individual regions. Daily forecasts are issued from the start of March to the end of September. Tree pollen forecasts are issued in late spring (late March to Mid May). Grass pollen forecasts are issued from late May to August. Weed pollen forecasts are issued from July to the end of May. Fungal spore forecasts are also available on a daily basis from September to the end of November. Daily forecasts are featured in newspapers, on radio, on television and various web pages. For a link to our daily forecasts see our home page All the forecasts are based on information from the quality controlled data produced by the National Pollen Monitoring Network, combined with the information from weather forecasts, local vegetation and typography types and information about biological factors and the weather in the preseason period that influences the amount of pollen produced. There are also long term forecasts available for purchase. These are especially useful for pharmaceutical and healthcare companies to assist in marketing and timing of adverts. Long range : Issued twice monthly from the start of March to Mid July, covers the month ahead for 15 regions of the UK . These forecasts contain comparisons with the same period last year and give a week by week forecast for the month ahead. The

Issued twice a week this covers the next five days as daily forecasts for 15 regions of the UK. All forecasts can include tree, grass and weed pollen. Forecasts are also available for individual regions of the UK. Forecasts can be delivered in any usual format - by fax, email or FTP. Forecasts can be issued in a format suitable for text messages.
