NPARU is a designated research centre of the University of Worcester involved with Health, Science, Environment and Forensics. NPARU primarily conducts research on topics related to Aerobiology (organic matter in the air). NPARU has collaborative links with many organisations and institutions in the UK and abroad and has a highly successful track record of research supported by grants and commercial enterprises, including many interdisciplinary projects. NPARU has made a substantial contribution to the body of scientific knowledge, which is demonstrated by the large number of publications and conference presentations on topics ranging from pollen forecasting, clinical trials on hay fever remedies, developments of new methods in aerobiology and pollen seasons and climate change.
